Mitsubishi indoor units use a sophisticated multi-part filter system to remove contaminants such as allergens, viruses and bacteria from the air as it circulates.

These high efficiency air filters are designed specifically for your Mitsubishi Ductless System. They remove fine particles as small as one-tenth of a micron. (about 1/240,000 inch). They are fast and easy to install - simply replace the filter every four months or when noticeably dirty. A clean, high efficiency filter not only cleans the air you breathe but helps protect your air conditioning system from contamination and keeps your operating costs to a minimum.

The Blue-Enzyme anti-allergen filters reduce germs, bacteria and viruses and helps trap dust, pollens, mites and other particles; the filter uses an enzyme catalyst to help break down the sulfur atom bonds in allergen proteins, transforming them into non-allergen proteins.

The FE models use a double filtration; the Blue-Enzyme filters and also a Platinum Catalyst Deodorizing filter that has a ceramic surface absorption element and uses nanotechnology for high power odor absorption. This combination of filter types provides a complete air purifying system along with ultimate comfort solution.
